Idaho has many health and wellness benefit services for citizens to encourage safety and security among them. Idaho benefit services include Medicaid, food assistance, child care assistance and cash assistance.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program It supports poor families by providing them funds so that they can buy food to stay healthy. To be eligible for this program, you must meet these criteria:
- resident of the State of Idaho.
- citizen or legal immigrant.
- work or participate in an employment and training program.
- household income must be less than the program income limits for your household size.
Medicaid/CHIP:In order to receive health coverage from Idaho Medicaid, you must meet these requirements:
- child under the age of 19, or

Advance Payment of Premium Tax Credit (APTC)To get benefits of an Advance Payment of Premium Tax Credit (APTC), one must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

- Have income between 100%-400% of the Federal Poverty Level
- Tax filer (if married, must file a joint tax return)
- Not eligible for any other Federally assisted health care program (Medicare, VA, Medicaid)
